Like the subject says, There are a couple of bots in a system. And I want to kill them. Ive got their timing from when all hostiles leave system down to when they warp out to a belt, but the problem is is they warp out to random belts, so I would have to get to the right one before they get out of the bubble and back to their pos. I figured if I could bubble the tower up, with bookmarks to the bubbles and sit outside 150 to each I could nail them on their warpin.

The tower has four small artillery batteries, and two medium auto cannon batteries as weapons. If I am understanding the readouts right. I just have to be greater then 90km and the activation proximity of the autocannon's wont engage, but the small artillery have a proximity of 330 km and a falloff of 168, so I assume they can hit to the 255 km gridline, If that is the case I most likely can not set pull bubbles down or they will just get killed by the smalls for them to be on grid and work?

TL;DR, want to catch bot, bot warps to tower with small artillery batteries, is it possible to suckerbubble tower and kill bot without tower killing bubbles, (and me)?

If someone can think of a way a solo pilot (currently in a Manticore) can catch a bot raven someway else, I'm willing to try.

PS: dont bots safe up when there is a neut/red in system?

Yeah. these ones safe up by warping out of the belt into the tower shields. That's why I was wondering if its possible to get pull bubbles to work far enough out that small artillery guns on the tower wouldn't be able to hit or something.

Kaanchana wrote:a drag bubble will work as far as the grid. that means if u can stretch your grid to say 500km and drop a bubble, it will pull ships to that distance. I read somewhere about extending the grid, not sure of its location or even if it can be done now. AFAIK if the grid is, say 300km and if you drop a container at the edge of the grid, that will acts as a centre point and will extend it to another 150km or so..
I am not sure if it can be done now. Wait for someone to confirm this.

Heheh. i thought ccp fixed this. I'll give it a try tomorrow and see.
